I’m Cathy!
Here’s a little bit about me.
I am a Registered Nurse. I graduated in 1989 and I worked at the Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation as a surgical nurse, hematology/oncology nurse, Intensive Care Unit and Post Anesthetic Care (PACU) nurse. I also worked in Endoscopy and the Michael DeGroote Pain clinic the last few years of my hospital nursing career.
I am in excellent standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) and am also a member of the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO), the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) and the Canadian Society of Aesthetic Specialty Nurses (CSASN).
I have always had a passion for fitness and beauty, but it wasn’t until I had the opportunity to work at the Hamilton Plastic Surgery Centre with one of Hamilton’s finest Plastic Surgeons, Dr. R. Patterson that I realized I LOVED Aesthetic Nursing. There were very few Nurse Injectors at the time (2005), but I worked hard, and an amazing opportunity came my way, and I will always be grateful for that!
In 2008, I did it! I started my own business with the help of some amazing people in my life. I am the very proud founder and owner of Mezzmerize Medical Aesthetics here in Downtown Burlington, and I love every minute of it!
I am an Advanced Certified Nurse Aesthetic Injector and am recognized as an expert injector in the industry. I have 19 years of injectable experience and have performed thousands of injections in this time. I have been trained in both the assessment and delivery of the most advanced and innovative techniques in this profession.
Even though I have many years of aesthetic injectable experience, I continue to pursue educational events across the world, because I want to give the very best results to all my clients. Most recently I attended the SWIFT Beauty Symposium in New York with the famous Dr. Arthur Swift and world-renowned anatomist Dr Sebastian Cotofana.
As an advanced injector I also have the distinction of being trained in all the MD Codes™ which was founded by world renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Mauricio de Maio.
The MD Codes™ are structural codes that build foundation, contour, and refinement in the face. This detailed assessment and delivery of product eliminates the unnatural, overfilled, and overdone appearance.
My experience, expertise, and commitment to continuing education will provide you with a personalized, nonsurgical enhancement using various facial volume lift techniques. I always aim to deliver safe and beautiful natural results. I will take my time to educate you and answer all your questions. I strongly believe a well-informed client is a happy client.

Taylor’s passion for beauty started at a young age, always hearing her mom talk about her day at the “office”. If you didn’t know, Mezzmerize is a mother-daughter business here in the heart of Downtown Burlington.
Taylor is the other half of Mezzmerize Medical Aesthetics. Taylor joined the team in 2017 as a Skin Care Consultant. Taylor has had extensive training with various skincare lines such as ZO Skin Health, AlumierMD, NeoCutis, Proderm, Dermalogica, and Dr Renaud to name a few.
Taylor went to school at Canadian Beauty College to study and further her education on facial anatomy, skin anatomy and laser and light therapies. She has received further training with the Oxygeneo Facial platform, laser therapy by InMode, and most recently added dermaplaning to her services.
Before taking the leap into the cosmetic world, Taylor completed her studies in Journalism and Advertising and Marketing Communications Management. These were amazing stepping stones for her to transition to Mezzmerize and bring her skills to be not only the facial expert but also the Clinic’s Social Media Manager.

Hi! I’m Rebecca. I’m so excited to have joined the Mezzmerize team!
My passion for the aesthetics industry started in middle-school with an interest in makeup and hair, and developed into an intense interest in skin care when I started to struggle with my own skin as a teenager.
I have a particular interest in skin care treatments and products that improve skin condition. I am passionate about developing individual treatment plans that enhance the natural brilliance of the skin. I am also focused on continually learning about new developments in the Aesthetics Industry so I can ensure I bring clients the most up to date knowledge.
My post-secondary education, professional career and continued trainings have included a wide variety of disciplines, but the common thread has always been helping people feel confident and happy in their own skin!
As a mother of two, I’ve learned that everyone deserves pampering for both our physical and mental health! Taking the time to invest in ourselves plays such a huge role in our self confidence and mental well-being.
I can’t wait to share my passion with everyone who walks through the door!
